We usually respond within two weeks
Role description
Having grown our customer base substantially during 2023 and now embarking on the next phase of our journey to improve welfare and performance for horses globally, we need to strengthen the customer-facing team at Sleip with a veterinary representative in the North American market.
The goal of this role is to help Sleip expand the use of objective gait analysis in lameness diagnostics and monitoring with our innovative and world-leading technology. Working remotely as part of the commercial team, liaising closely with Sleip's veterinary team, you will support our existing vet users and partners in the market and introduce the product to those wanting to know more before getting started.
The role combines remote work using video-based sessions and occasionally travelling to meet vets in person across the markets. We are initially envisioning a part-time role that can be combined with independent work as a lameness vet or with other engagements, aiming for a 1-3 days per week workload (with flexibility week-to-week). As part of the role, our in-house expert vets will thoroughly train you in objective gait analysis.
Who we believe you are
In this entirely new role at Sleip, we are looking for an equine vet with experience working with lameness diagnostics, ideally with previous experience in assessing horses using objective gait analysis. As a Sleip representative, you will have a dynamic and social role, from helping our users assess cases remotely to being a passionate advocate for our product and vision in relevant physical events and conventions.
As a Sleip vet, we offer you a unique opportunity to be part of a global tech company rooted in veterinary medicine and research, leveraging key technologies and a disruptive product. You'll be able to shape your role as we grow and develop your skill set as a vet and professional.
Requirements:
- Experience working as an orthopaedic vet clinically
- Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking)
- A drive to always deliver great customer experiences and an ability to build strong relationships
- A passion to help educate and develop other vets in the roles
Nice-to-haves:
- Previously having worked with objective gait analysis in lameness diagnostics
- A genuine interest in tech and innovative technologies and products
